Web Designer & Branding Specialist

We are seeking a talented and creative WordPress Web Designer with exceptional branding skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create visually stunning websites that effectively represent our clients’ brands. In addition, you should have experience creating comprehensive brand books based on client interviews and inputs.

This is a project based role. Currently, 3 projects in the pipeline with more opportunity if collaboration goes well.

Responsibilities:

1. Design visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly websites that align with client branding and marketing goals.
2. Develop comprehensive brand books, including logo design, color schemes, typography, and visual elements, based on client inputs and industry best practices.
3. Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of design elements and overall website functionality.
4. Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our projects are fresh and innovative.
5. Understand how to implement on page SEO and Meta Data into their websites
6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining the highest quality standards.
7. Revise and refine designs based on client feedback, ensuring their vision is accurately represented.
8. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Requirements:
– A strong portfolio demonstrating your web design and branding capabilities.
– Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Sketch.
– Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and copy to clients and team members.
– A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and impactful designs.
– Familiarity with WordPress Plugins such as Yoast
– Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
– A team player with a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills.
