We are a small, friendly, UK-based digital support agency specialising in website maintenance, digital technical support, and consultancy services for marketing managers.
Role Overview:
We seek an English-speaking Web Designer with extensive experience in WordPress and Elementor. Knowledge of other WordPress builders, as well as Squarespace and/or Webflow, is a significant bonus. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to create visually appealing, user-friendly websites. This role requires a creative thinker who can work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress and Elementor.
Customise WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs.
Create visually engaging designs that align with client branding and project objectives.
Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance across all devices and browsers.
Collaborate with the development and support department to implement new features and improvements.
Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and follow best practices for accessibility and usability.
Provide maintenance and support for existing client websites, including updates and troubleshooting.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular project updates.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on WordPress and Elementor projects.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Not Essential But Desirable Skills:
Experience with Squarespace and/or WebFlow design and customisation.
Knowledge of additional page builders and CMS platforms.
Knowledge of A.I. building tools.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
Basic knowledge of digital marketing and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
Some familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimisation is a bonus.

Hours:
9 am – 5:30 pm London Time 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.
