Responsibilities:
Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites on the SquareSpace platform that align with our brand identity and target audience.
Utilize web design principles, HTML, CSS, and responsive design techniques to create websites that provide an exceptional user experience.
Collaborate with the team to understand requirements, goals, and brand guidelines, and translate them into effective web design solutions.
Conduct thorough keyword research and implement on-page SEO strategies to optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, and internal linking structure.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure website visibility and organic ranking improvement.
Develop and execute strategies for brand identity development, including logo design, typography, color schemes, and overall visual consistency.
Create engaging graphics, illustrations, and visual assets for the website and digital marketing campaigns.
Plan and develop social media strategies and campaigns across various platforms to increase brand awareness, engagement, and reach.
Create and publish original and compelling content on social media platforms, including Instagram, to resonate with our target audience.
Utilize social media features and tools to optimize content performance and increase reach, including hashtags, captions, filters, stickers, and other relevant features.
Monitor and analyze social media metrics to refine content strategies, improve engagement, and measure campaign success.
Engage with the social media community by promptly responding to comments and messages, building relationships with influencers, and fostering connections with potential customers.
Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and algorithm changes on social media platforms, including Instagram.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and alignment across all channels.
Utilize your expertise in managing SquareSpace websites to maintain, update, and optimize our existing website for better performance and user experience.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a web designer, digital marketing specialist, social media manager, and SquareSpace expert.
Demonstrable portfolio showcasing successful web design projects, digital marketing campaigns, social media management, and SquareSpace websites.
Proficiency in web design tools and technologies, such as HTML, CSS, responsive design, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
In-depth knowledge of SEO optimization techniques, keyword research, and on-page SEO best practices.
Strong understanding of brand identity development, including logo design, typography, color theory, and visual consistency.
Experience in creating visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and other visual assets using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
Proven track record in planning and executing successful social media strategies and campaigns on various platforms, including Instagram.
Familiarity with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and advertising platforms for effective campaign management.
Expertise in SquareSpace website management, including design customization, content updates, and optimization.
