Client’s Profile

They are a family-owned asset management company based in the Chicago area. This company prides itself on its commitment to delivering the most personalized level of service to every owner and client. They strive to offer hotel management services, lending solutions, acquisitions, and accounting expertise.

In addition to managing hotels for entrepreneurs, institutions, and private owners, they also own and operate a Portfolio of Hotels, Restaurants, and a Pharmacy & Medical Clinic.

What you’ll do

This company is looking for a Web Designer to design a responsive single-page website that offers product information and a consultation scheduler and is dynamic and visually engaging. Responsibilities for this project include but are not limited to:

– Conceptualizing the project, vision and theme for the website with the client
– Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices
– Designing visual imagery and design components for the websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for the client
– Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes
– Incorporating functionalities and features into websites
– Designing sample pages, including colors and fonts
– Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure
– Working with the Web Developer to see the website to the deployment

– A Digital Designer with over three years of experience in UI/UX Design
– A true artist at heart with a passion for engaging user interface
– Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
– A multi-tasker that can juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen
– A leader and natural problem-solver who can work well independently

What you should have

– Proven work samples/portfolio is a must (please share your portfolio or any websites or applications you have worked on)
– Proficiency in graphic design software such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or other visual design tools.
– Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
– Excellent visual design skills
– Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies
– Excellent communication skills
– A solid understanding of content management systems well
– A solid understanding of search engine optimization principles
– A solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
