Web Dev TEAM LEAD for Growing Agency

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our digital marketing agency. We seek a talented and dedicated WordPress Developer who is capable of building anything using the Elementor page builder. In other words, our design team would submit a design and you could match that design within WordPress using the Elementor builder. These sites need to be built using best practices with speed, efficiency, mobile-readiness and high standards of security in mind.

This person is also a problem solver, does not take criticism personally and isn’t afraid to try new things.

Skills & experience needed:
– Php, ajax, jquery, js, html and css
– Can manage and oversee InMotion hosting environment
– Able to build fully custom WordPress themes
– Comfortable building anything with Elementor
– Run virus scans, code checks, implement ways to make a site clean and secure
– Need to be able to maintain, run site checks and fix wordpress bugs and issues like spamware and malware
– Great communication and project management skills
– Excellent written and spoken English
– Participate in design discussions, reviews, and meetings
– High-attention to detail, professional, and time-conscious
– High level of integrity, confidentiality, & accountability
– Available to work between 9AM and 5PM, EST
– Always willing to learn and take on extra training
– Is willing to do a preliminary test with us as part of the screening process

Bonus skills
– Experience with Google Adwords
– Keyword research
– Search Engine Optimization tactics both onsite and offsite

Familiarity with the following tools:
– Slack
– Click to view
– Teamwork Projects and Desk
– ManageWP
– WordPress
– Google Drive/Docs

Responsibilities:
– Oversee all website builds from start to finish
– Lead the team in managing / overseeing quality control, processes and best practices
– Lead the team in increasing efficiency, elevating skill sets and executing security best practices
– Fix broken plugins, run website audits and optimize sites for speed and security
– Available for video chat at least once a day for the first 6 weeks
– Document all assigned processes and organize within company drive
– Continued education when work is slow
– Send daily project updates to executive management without supervision
