Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for updating, maintaining, and managing our websites to ensure they are up-to-date, visually appealing, and optimized for optimal performance. Your expertise in web development and coding will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience and driving online engagement.

Responsibilities:

Website Development and Updates:
– Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and implement necessary updates and improvements to our websites.
– Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
– Ensure the websites are responsive and compatible across different browsers and devices.
– Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking.

Content Management:
– Work closely with content creators and designers to update and publish content on the websites.
– Optimize images and multimedia elements for fast loading and optimal user experience.
– Integrate and manage plugins, widgets, and third-party tools as required.

Website Maintenance and Security:
– Perform regular website maintenance tasks, including updates, backups, and security checks.
– Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues or bugs that may arise.
– Monitor website performance and implement optimizations for speed and efficiency.

Collaborative Approach:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and content creators, to ensure seamless website integration and consistency.
– Provide technical guidance and support to team members when needed.
– Stay updated with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of web development projects.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and frameworks.
– Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and website administration.
– Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
– Knowledge of web accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
