Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer with a strong background in web development and an eye for design. The ideal candidate will be capable of constructing high-quality websites similar to Home Loan Experts, Atelier Wealth, and Impressive. This role requires a deep understanding of web technologies and design principles to deliver aesthetically pleasing, fast, and user-friendly websites.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop websites from initial concept, site architecture, and user interface to finished deliverable.
Code and implement WordPress sites from Photoshop layout through HTML/CSS to a custom theme, functions, and plugins.
Design and implement new features, enhancements, and content of existing websites.
Ensure high-performance and manageability of technology infrastructure.
Test websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices.
Optimize loading speeds and capacity, debug pages, and fix broken links or images.
Ensure websites meet accessibility standards.
Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferable code.
Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitors’ websites.
Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience in web development.
Proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design coding languages.
Experience building complex websites that are responsive, performant, and accessible.
Strong understanding of website aesthetics (UI/UX, color theory, whitespace management, and typography).
Knowledge of website optimization tools and techniques for creating fast-loading websites.
Experience with PHP back-end development is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

A portfolio that demonstrates both JavaScript proficiency and understanding of solid design principles (please provide links to sites you’ve built).
Experience with other CMS platforms and e-commerce solutions such as Magento or Shopify is a plus.
Familiarity with SEO principles and ensuring websites adhere to them.
