Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced Developer who can help us build working WordPress websites that are stunning in appearance and compliant with industry standards to eventually free up the CEO to focus on business development.
We have built great relationships with our clients for years and the CEO is looking forward to maintaining these great relationships.
This is a remote or work-from-home role and would ideally suit someone wanting to work at least 4 – 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. This is a part time opportunity but can be full time for the right candidate.
You should be ready and willing to get great satisfaction from serving our audience and become an integral part of our small creative team.
You should have excellent technical skills, integrity and attention to detail as well as a proactive mindset.
You’ll report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
Your job will be to use your past experience to:
– Build WordPress websites using the design and content provided, and follow industry best practices.
– Proactively seek and suggest plugins and or code to improve the end product.
– Help develop procedures and testing schedules.
– Use Blogvault to keep all care plan client sites up to date and send monthly reports.
– Respond to and address all maintenance tasks.
– Attend all team meetings and support other team members with any technical requests.
Experience
You should have past experience building WordPress sites using templates or custom themes while following industry best practices at the same time.
Constantly communicating with CEO for any plugin suggestions, improvements to the end product and address all maintenance tasks.
You should be able to help develop procedures, processes and testing schedules.
You should be knowledgeable with different programming and scripting languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, Liquid, Javascript, WordPress and Blogvault or ManageWP for care plan monthly reports to clients. Experience with page builders such as Beaver Builder, Elementor and Divi is preferred.
You should be comfortable using some internal communication tools such as Teamwork Desk, Clickup, Asana, Google Drive, Zoom, Slack for team meetings and to support other team members with any technical request.
You should also be confident enough to push back on the leadership team and express your opinion if you think the ship is heading off course. We encourage that.

Employment Type
This is a part-time role with full-time capability and we’re not looking for an agency.
Availability Requirements
We are a U.S. based company working in the Pacific Time Zone. We need someone who can be available Monday – Friday 6am PST to 2pm PST. This position relies on responsiveness of our team members to fix issues submitted to our support ticket system and respond to internal team member needs. Do not apply if you cannot work during this time.
