We specialise in the Animal Stockyards industry with sales in Australia, Europe, and South America, with our own factory in China, and we are seeking a Marketing Graphic Designer to join our International team as we expand our BOP facility in the Philippines.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field in the Web Development and Design.

You will be a pivotal member of our marketing team, responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining a range of product-related content. This role will enable the company to be more competitive in terms of website offerings by exploring new and upcoming technologies.
An extensive learning curve will be needed to understand our industry’s specific vocabulary and terminology.
You may be required to travel internationally to undertake training and development.

Responsibilities:
• Design, Develop (front end and back end), Test, Deploy and Maintain websites and/or web apps
• Assure that Security and Data Privacy compliance and standards are met.
• Assure SEO Compliance and Best Practices are met.
• espond to technical support requests from end-users, both via phone and email, in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues, including troubleshooting network connectivity problems.
• Provide guidance and assistance to users on utilizing HTML and JavaScript ES5 & ES6 for website development and customization.
• Conduct media testing for site URLs to ensure proper functioning and compatibility across different devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and address any bugs or technical issues related to HTML, JavaScript, and tracking tools.
• Document and maintain support tickets, resolutions, and knowledge base articles for future reference.
• Train end-users on basic troubleshooting techniques and best practices for utilizing web technologies effectively.
• Collaborate with our design and editorial teams to create engaging digital experiences.
• Ensure the quality and functionality of our websites.
• Optimize our websites for speed and performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of experience in web development
• Strong knowledge of HTML and JavaScript, including proficiency in ES5 & ES6 standards.
• Experience in conducting media testing for site URLs, ensuring compatibility across different devices and browsers.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Prior experience in a helpdesk or technical support role is preferred.
• Experience working with WordPress, Webflow or other content management systems.3
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques
• A passion for web development and a desire to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies
• Familiarity with web development frameworks and content management systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and customer-oriented approach.

Summary:

Web Developer works on both the user-facing and back-end elements of websites and applications. This role will enable the company to be more competitive in terms of website offerings by exploring new and upcoming technologies. Responsible for developing and maintaining our websites and online platforms.
