Web Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer (Front-End Focus) to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for translating design mock-ups into interactive web pages, ensuring optimal user experience across various devices, and implementing SEO best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, SEO basics, web performance optimization, and UI/UX principles, as well as experience with software integrations and API communication – ideally familiar with GA4, Active Campaign, and CoSchedule, which are external platforms we regularly use and will want to integrate.

Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain front-end code for responsive websites, integrating with various APIs and software solutions as needed.
2. Implement interactive elements using JavaScript, including software integrations and webhook implementations.
3. Optimize websites for speed and performance, ensuring seamless integration with external systems.
4. Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-friendly content and URLs, ensuring content is optimized for search engines.
5. Build landing pages for performance campaigns, integrating with analytics and marketing automation tools as needed.
6. Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to ensure efficient and visually appealing web solutions

Qualifications:
1. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in software integrations and API communication.
2. Experience with responsive design, SEO basics, and familiarity with web performance optimization techniques.
3. Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills
5. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
6. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and experience in the US market are a big plus.
7. Ideally familiar with the software that we use: GA4 for analytics, Active Campaign for EMS, and CoSchedule for our social posts, assets, and campaign management.

Hours: Flexible, with hours varying week to week based on project needs.
