Hannah Akintoye Law, PLLC is a Washington, DC criminal defense and injury law firm. We are seeking a web developer/graphic designer skilled in WordPress sites to work with our law firm for approximately 10-15 hours/week, and up to 20 hours during weeks that require launches of digital products, courses, and lead magnets. We are looking for someone who is interested in having a long-term relationship with our firm. This is a remote position, and requires a 6-month minimum commitment.

The general duties of the Web Developer/Graphic Designer will be the following:

• Designing, editing, and updating web pages and landing pages for the firm’s WordPress site
• Ability to update and edit a child theme created on the firm’s WordPress site
• SEO updates and management
• Graphic design and creation of social media posts, flyers, videos, and lead magnets
• Video editing
• Tracking website visits and activity
• Determining sources of website traffic
• Using the Active Campaign CRM to track website traffic and metrics for web pages and landing pages
• Managing Google Analytics
• Market research
• Keyword research
• Competitor analysis
• Other related marketing tasks

Required experience and tools:

• Minimum education of a bachelor’s degree
• 2 years minimum experience in web design, and graphic design
• Basic experience with using code on WordPress sites
• Access to a computer with video capabilities, secure WIFI, and fast RAM
• Advanced English, writing, and copywriting skills
• Detail-oriented, and frequently checks work to avoid mistakes

Compensation:
The rate of pay for this position is $6/hour. There is a 6-month minimum commitment required. You will be evaluated regularly, and at the end of the 6 months, if your performance is exceptional, our goal is to offer a more permanent position with the law firm.
