Job Title: Web/Graphic Designer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Web/Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Web/Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly web pages, as well as creating engaging graphics and multimedia content for our website, social media, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work, excellent design skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field
Coursework in design principles, color theory, typography, and web development
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in web design and graphic design
Portfolio that showcases a range of design projects, including web design, graphic design, and multimedia content
Experience with web design tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design
Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Knowledge of web design principles and best practices
Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Web Development Experience:
Experience with WordPress (minimum 2 years)
Experience with Duda (minimum 1 year)
Knowledge of web development best practices
Software proficiency:
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Responsive design tools (e.g. Bootstrap)
Content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
Duda platform
Design style:
Strong understanding of design principles and aesthetics
Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs
Experience with designing for various mediums (web, print, social media)
Other:
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly
Nice to have:
· Experience with animation or motion graphics
· Knowledge of SEO best practices
· Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify or Magento
· Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Trello
Web Master Responsibilities:
· Ensure the stability and security of our website(s)
· Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updating plugins, themes, and core software
· Troubleshoot technical issues with the website(s)
· Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and functionality
· Optimize website performance for search engines
Creatives with Experience in WordPress:
· Experience with creating custom WordPress themes and plugins
· Knowledge of WordPress best practices and security guidelines
· Ability to create custom WordPress page templates and layouts
· Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor or Beaver Builder
Creatives with Experience in Duda:
· Experience with creating custom Duda websites and templates
· Knowledge of Duda best practices and development guidelines
· Ability to create custom Duda page templates and layouts
· Experience with Duda’s drag-and-drop editor
