QUESTIONS YOU MUST ANSWER PRIOR TO APPLYING FOR THE JOB:

I have some questions for you and would like to know how you will answer this. This is specifically what I need currently, but will need someone full time for maintenance and upgrades.

1. Can you share your experience with customizing membership plugins in WordPress to accommodate specific requirements or functionalities? Please provide examples of such customizations and the challenges you encountered.

2. Have you worked on projects that required back-end and database customization for membership websites? Please provide an example.

3. How would you implement an upgrade/downgrade feature in Paid Membership Pro where changes take effect at the next billing cycle?

4. How would you ensure that members can have only one Loyalty membership level while allowing multiple levels for one-off payments?

5. How would you develop a custom plugin that awards ticket entries to users based on their membership level after they successfully check out?

6. How familiar are you with handling payment gateways and subscription billing within WordPress?

7. Have you had experience implementing multi-tiered affiliate systems in WordPress, where affiliates are rewarded for referring new members to different subscription levels or tiers? Please describe the projects you’ve worked on in this context and any challenges you encountered.

8. Let’s say we have a membership website with users who receive different numbers of ticket entries based on their membership level. We want to conduct a draw where users have their names entered a corresponding number of times based on their ticket entries (e.g., if a user has 20 tickets, their name is entered 20 times). How would you approach developing this feature, and what technologies or methods would you use to ensure a fair and random draw?

Design, develop, and sustain our website, focusing predominantly on membership portal creation and management.
Seamlessly integrate our portals with other platforms and software using SQL and pertinent technologies.
Engage closely with our UI/UX design team to ensure web designs are rendered accurately with an emphasis on user experience.
Architect and optimize databases to back our web applications.
Contribute to the conception and design of mobile and web-based apps.
Consistently update existing projects, identify and remedy issues, and implement solutions.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related discipline.
High proficiency in diverse web languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
Solid grasp and hands-on experience with SQL and database administration.
Demonstrated experience in crafting and managing membership portals.
Acquaintance with contemporary web frameworks and CMS platforms.
Prior experience in mobile and web app development.
Excellent problem-solving prowess with a knack for efficient troubleshooting.
Team player with the capability to effectively communicate with a varied audience.
