Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team and manage our existing Shopify and WordPress websites. In addition, you will be involved in creating new websites as we expand our online presence. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, optimization, and enhancement of our websites on a daily basis.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing high-volume e-commerce stores.
Proficient in Shopify and WordPress platforms, with expertise in Shopify design, script optimization, and certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of website speed optimization techniques, ensuring continuous high performance according to Google Web Speed Insights.
Ability to edit UX design to align with website speed and overall user experience.
Familiarity with Woo, WordPress + Woocommerce setup, and management.
Experience with SEO practices, including meta descriptions and meta tags implementation.
Proficiency in Google Suite tools, including GTM (Google Tag Manager), Analytics, and Google Search Console.
Expertise in Shopify themes, including liquid and Ruby, to customize and enhance website functionalities.
Familiarity with recommended WooCommerce plugins and WordPress development best practices.
Strong UI expertise and the ability to translate graphic design into seamless user experiences.
Experience in adaptive, responsive, and mobile design, ensuring cross-device compatibility.
Front-end skills, including HTML5, JavaScript, and back-end skills like PHP.
Extensive knowledge of the Shopify App Store and ability to recommend best-in-class apps for sales and marketing growth.
Familiarity with Email Clients such as Klaviyo and MailChimp.
Experience with web hosting providers like Dreamhost or CloudFlare.
Proficient in Email Authentication, Postmaster, DNS, and dmarc setup.

Responsibilities:

Manage the daily operations and maintenance of our existing Shopify and WordPress websites.
Optimize website speed and performance to ensure fast loading times and excellent user experience.
Edit UX design elements to align with website speed and performance goals.
Implement SEO best practices, including meta descriptions and meta tags.
Utilize Google Suite tools, such as GTM, Analytics, and Google Search Console, to track website performance and make data-driven decisions.
Customize and optimize Shopify themes using Liquid and Ruby to enhance website functionality.
Recommend and implement the best WooCommerce plugins and WordPress development practices.
Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly design across all devices.
Collaborate with the team to identify and solve backend and frontend issues promptly.
Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance website functionality and user experience.
Sign NDA and legal agreement due to access to personal data.

Qualifications:

Proven track record of successfully managing high-volume e-commerce stores.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and initiative-driven approach.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working with a US-based e-commerce company is preferred.
