Web Developer with Strong Technical SEO Experience Needed

Looking for a web developer and experienced Technical SEO to carry out site migration and improve core vitals across several websites. The role is ongoing project-based working for a growing consultancy.

Responsibilities

You will be carrying out various tasking including website migration, and regular activities to improve core vitals and technical SEO aspects. Working on primarily on WordPress, there may be a small amount of Squarespace optimisation to undertake.

You will be required to check-in regularly to ensure projects are on track.

Required Skills & Experience

To qualify for the role you will need the following proven skills and experience;

Advanced WordPress Web Development
Technical SEO
Experience in site migration
Well-versed with HTML, CSS, JS, and site architecture

Soft Skills

You will also need the following soft skills;

Attention to detail
Honest and diligent
Be passionate about providing quality work

Basic Skills

In addition to the required skills and experience already listed, the role requires excellent English and communication skills.

You’ll need to use the applications listed below. You don’t need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to be at least familiar with most of them.

Squarespace (not essential but must be willing to learn)
Notion
Slack
Google Drive (Docs & Sheets)
Familar with a range of SEO Tools

Work Schedule

This role is project-based and hours may fluctuate. Initially, the role requires a site migration with then regular work to improve and maintain the website and technical SEO aspects.

Hours are flexible, you can work during the hours that suit you so long as there are regular updates on project progress and projects are completed within given timeframes.

Salary

8.5 USD per hour
