Job Description:
As a Web Developer at Buzz Digital Agency, you will be a key player in creating and maintaining visually stunning, user-friendly, and high-performance websites for our clients. You will work closely with our design and project management teams to implement custom solutions using WordPress and WooCommerce. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of WordPress best practices, is proficient in e-Commerce development, and is eager to contribute their skills to create impactful online experiences.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and customize WordPress websites and themes
– Implement and extend WooCommerce functionality to meet specific project requirements
– Collaborate with designers and project managers to understand project goals and requirements
– Ensure websites are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and optimized for performance
– Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain the integrity of WordPress and WooCommerce solutions
– Stay updated on the latest WordPress and WooCommerce trends and technologies
– Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
– Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a focus on e-Commerce websites
– Proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript
– Experience with custom WordPress theme and plugin development
– Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and principles
– Familiarity with third-party integrations and APIs
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Availability to work from 9AM to 6PM CST
– Use of Hubstaff as time and activity tracker
