Job Description

Position: Web Editor
Number of hours: 20 hours/week
Schedule: TBD

Below are the typical tasks you might do each day.
– Edit content generated from wpautomatic and publish to WordPress
– Share published posts on social media in Facebook Groups
– Post new daily deals with affiliate links on social media accounts
– Update plugins, keep website in good technical health
– Create content that teaches people how to save money on their everyday expenses, make money online, or invest their money wisely
– Create content about Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs
– We will provide instructions on where to find ideas for this content

Tasks required:
? Create, produce and manage high-quality content using automated tools such as ChatGPT, etc.
? Edit all content for clarity, grammar, and SEO. do not simply publish what the tool generates
? Build relationships with team members
? Oversee layout (images, graphics, videos and artwork)
? Regularly check and track content for accuracy
? Edit, proofread and suggest improvements to written content
? Work in a multidisciplinary team of web designers, marketing executives and photographers
? Use SEO and social media to improve website traffic
? Ensure content is up-to-date
? Comply with copyright and privacy regulations
? Determine and track important KPIs
? Track and analyze website’s traffic
? Produce and present reports
? Keep abreast with new trends in web technology
? Other ad hoc tasks that might be assigned
? Provide a DAILY UPDATE of tasks completed that day as well as tasks to be completed the next day.

Requirements:
? Proven work experience as a Web Editor or relevant experience
? Knowledge in web development/design
? Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills
? In-depth knowledge of best SEO practices and tools
? Familiarity with affiliate marketing, daily deals, and content marketing
? Hands-on experience with Google Suite, Facebook, WordPress, Canva and other publishing/social media platforms
? Aggressive problem-diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
? Keen attention to detail
? Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and
budgets
? Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse
web technologies and techniques
? Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to work independently and as part of a team
