Job Description
Firetoss, an SEO Werkz company, is seeking a designer to conceptualize and create unique
website designs for our clients. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing
creative ideas for client websites, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with
our clients’ branding. You will be interfacing with clients to discuss needs as well as look
and feel of the site designs. You will be working closely with both our strategists and web
development team to ensure proper and hassle-free implementation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent visual design skills, be
proficient in the Adobe catalog and be comfortable discussing design concepts with
clientele.
Full-time position (40hrs/week) with a starting annual salary between
Skills & Qualifications
? 3+ years experience in web design.
? Detailed, ready-to-work knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop,
Illustrator, Adobe XD and In Design. Additional programs include Sketch, Invision, Craft
Manager etc.
? A thorough understanding of UI/UX and the ability to implement best practices into a
design.
? Excellent organizational, communication & interpersonal skills, particularly written &
verbal communication.
? Proficiency with Google products including Google Sheets, Docs, & Slides.
? Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python or other coding languages is a plus.
? Prior agency experience is a plus.
? Prior experience utilizing a project management platform (e.g., ClickUp, Asana,
Basecamp, Trello, etc.) is a plus.
Functions & Responsibilities
A web/graphic designer is accountable for understanding the needs of a client and creating
designs that reflect those needs. This role is client-facing and will need to interface directly
with clients throughout the design process through meetings, email and other modes of
communication. The designer will walk clients through design creations that explain and
showcase how designs execute the strategy of the site as well as UI/UX best practices. They
will need to update designs based on client feedback and overcome issues if they arise. Upon
client approval, a designer will need to collect all the design files as well as additional content
and pass that along to the developers for the building of the website.
Specific responsibilities include:
? Have the ability to understand a variety of complex client industries & their competitive
landscapes and be able to create designs that reflect those various industries.
? Articulate in visual form the style and voice of a specific type of client.
? Be able to take critique from the creative director and others create the best product
possible.
? Understand that this is a dynamic industry. Be willing to learn new platforms and skills
to grow your personal skill set that will affect efficiency and grow the company.

any issues that arise.
? Staying current with new features & developments in web design and in the design
UI/UX industry at large.
? Self-motivation, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Strong time
management skills are necessary.
? Ability to work collaboratively & communicate effectively with the rest of the team,
clients, and project partners.
