We are a leading provider of Web Design and Digital Marketing Services. Based in Australia, in Melbourne’s Northern suburbs.
We are currently looking for a Web Hosting Support Desk Coordinator with developer skills to effectively and efficiently resolve all client support tickets, work closely with our web development team and ensure that our Linux website hosting/server and maintenance plan products are managed and delivered to the highest standards.
Areas of Technical Proficiency and Position Responsibilities/Requirements.
– 2+ years experience in website management and support services for clients.
– WHM Cloud Linux Server Management Expertise. (Server load, resource management, cloud linux packages, email troubleshooting)
– cPanel troubleshooting and deployment experience.
– WordPress, PHP, HTML & CSS, JavaScript proficiency or experience.
– Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
– Manage multiple support tickets. Triage and resolve efficiently or delegate when necessary.
– Communicate with developers overseas to ensure timely delivery of service, and accurate resolution of tickets.
– Domain and DNS management, including domain trasfers.
– WordPress error troubleshooting site, plugin and theme debugging.
– Quickly & easily transferring/restoring backups of WordPress sites, including setting up staging environments and setting – websites live. (Manually using phpMyAdmin and file manager/ftp)
– Clean and recover hacked or compromised WordPress websites quickly and confidently.
– MySQL and phpMyAdmin experience for WordPress support requirements
– Use a variety of WP page builders (Divi. Avada. Elementor etc.)
– Website speed optimisation.
– Oversee monthly maintenance customers have received site updates as required.
– Log customer hours for billing.
You will be in regular contact with our customers via phone and email.
Required Competencies:
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, exceptional written and spoken English will be required for this role.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office, WordPress, HTML and CSS. Working knowledge of PHP and JavaScript.
– Competent in the use of ASANA and ZOHO.
– An analytical mind and a love of problem solving.
– The ability to confidently manage multiple tasks in a time critical manner.
– The ability to successfully delegate tasks and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
– The desire to provide the best possible results for clients.
– Honesty, integrity, a great work ethic, and a great attention to detail.
– The ability to take ownership of a role, to be proactive, self-disciplined, organised and efficient.
– WHMCS experience will be highly regarded.
You will require a highspeed, secure internet connection for this role and a stand alone computer with a user profile dedicated to the role, as well as running time/activity tracking software.
