Job Description

We are a local directory company whose mission is to make local commerce easier. This will be a full-time position reporting to our Canadian office. We are looking for an experienced self-motivating Marketing Assistant who is proficient in the following areas:

1. WordPress/Woocommerce
2. HTML/CSS
3. Facebook ads
4. Google ads
5. Social Media Management
6. Data Mining
7. Graphic design
8. Excel

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the corporate marketing team, you will be responsible for delivering consistent quality output for our website while ensuring the use of best practices related to business listings, SEO, and advertising. Your primary responsibilities are the following:

a) Website development and management of localization efforts.
b) Project manage major web updates.
c) Manage and execute SEO efforts across all web properties.
d) Integration of web forms and form handler to support marketing automation processes.
e) Creation and A/B testing of landing pages.
f) Assisting with integrated campaigns, including deployments.
g) Collaborate with marketing teams on content production, delivery, and maintenance.
h) Interpret website user data to improve the buyer journey.
i) Report and provide analysis on website and campaigns.
j) Work with the team to ensure digital experience and brand guidelines are being met.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE:

i) 2-4 years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably in B2B.
ii) Familiarity with the B2B buyer journey, including lead flow strategies (from web to Active Campaign)
iii) Hands-on experience with WordPress strongly desired.
iv) Hands-on experience with technical SEO.
v) Experience with Facebook Pixels, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
vi) Highly collaborative with a deep sense of ownership and accountability.
vii) Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms; knowledge of Active Campaign preferred.
viii) Experience with paid advertising channels (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn) strongly desired.
ix) Experience in creating and executing demand generation campaigns strongly desired.
x) Experience using CRM technology as a tool to align sales and marketing.
