Role and Responsibilities:
As a Remote Web Master you will play an important role in creating, maintaining, enhancing, and optimizing our collection of websites. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing regular website edits and updates to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals.
Conducting weekly WordPress updates, plugin updates, and theme updates to maintain website security and performance.
Monitoring website uptime and responding promptly to any downtime incidents to minimize disruptions.
Providing emergency technical support to swiftly address critical issues and maintain the uninterrupted functioning of websites.
Performing daily backups to safeguard website data and content against potential loss.
Analyzing website analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
Recommending and implementing security protocols to protect websites from vulnerabilities and threats.
Monitoring security on an ongoing basis and taking proactive steps to prevent and address security breaches.
Conducting malware removal and recovery in the event of a security incident.
Safely testing updates and changes on sandbox sites to ensure compatibility and minimize potential risks.
Testing and implementing custom functionalities to enhance user experiences and meet business requirements.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in managing multiple WordPress websites, including e-commerce platforms built with WooCommerce.
– Extensive knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and best practices.
– Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to WordPress and WooCommerce.
– Familiarity with website analytics tools to track performance and user behavior.
– Strong understanding of website security principles and experience implementing security measures.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote team members.
– Self-motivated and able to work independently while adhering to established schedules and deadlines.
– Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
– Relevant certifications in WordPress and WooCommerce are a plus.
