Web Performance Engineer

We are seeking highly skilled and passionate Web Performance Engineers to join our talented team. As a Web Performance Engineer at NitroPack, you will play a crucial role in optimizing website performance and ensuring an exceptional user experience. You will work closely with our clients, leveraging your deep understanding of various performance aspects, tools, and techniques to deliver high-performing websites.

?Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with clients to assess their website performance needs and objectives
– Conduct in-depth analysis of websites, identifying performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement
– Optimize website performance by implementing best practices and industry standards
– Utilize your expertise in HTTP, SSLs, TTFB, Google Chrome, and browser rendering to enhance website speed and efficiency
– Monitor and analyze Core Web Vitals (CWV) metrics, including LCP, FID, and CLS, and provide actionable insights to improve them
– Ensure performant code by optimizing JavaScript execution and leveraging web workers
– Implement and configure edge caching solutions, CDNs, and Cloudflare workers to enhance website delivery?

Qualifications:

– Strong understanding of web performance principles
– Deep knowledge of Core Web Vitals (CWV)
– Proficiency in performance optimization techniques and tools such as Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, or similar frameworks
– Experience with website optimization for Google Chrome and other popular browsers
– Strong proficiency in JavaScript and its execution on the main thread
– Experience in implementing and configuring edge caching solutions, CDNs, and Cloudflare workers
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues
– Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
