Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a IT Technical Support/Web Developer in the website design industry.

This position is suited to someone who loves to work in a team and loves interacting with clients.

Must have a reliable internet connection and good PC.
Must know WordPress, not just how to spell it, and understand website design.
Must have front end page builder experience. Ideally experience with our stack. Our web build stack is Beaver Builder (Pro), Ultimate Addon + PowerPack (BB extensions), Gravity Forms, Astra Theme (Pro)

You MUST have experience with cPanel.

*There will be several on screen real-time cPanel and WP-Admin activities to perform with my current tech team, so fakers need NOT apply*

• Having insights into good SEO best practices an advantage

Technical
• Hosting and Domains Configuration Experience a must.
• cPanel Experience a must.
o Site migration, debug and restoration
o DNS management
o Cloudflare
o cPanel Optimisation
• Troubleshooting

Requirements:
• WHM – Web Host Management Experience
• cPanel experience
• Domains Management experience
• Technical support ticket management
• Technical problem solving skills.
• WordPress experience
• Web development/maintenance experience

Preferences:
• MySQL Database experience
• JavaScript knowledge
• PHP knowledge
• WHMCS experience

Requirements clarification:
• Do you have experience with Web Server Management?
• Do you have experience with WHM (Web Host Manager)?
• cPanel experience – Creating Hosting Accounts, Creating Disk Quotas, FTP Accounts and Email Accounts?
• How about creating and configuring MX Records? Backing up the entire cPanel?
• Domains management experience – Are you familiar with Name-servers, DNS, MX Entries
• How about changing the IPs of your domain to redirect to another hosting server?
• Setting up hosting accounts, new email accounts –
• Resolve clients’ issues using in-house procedures and/or develops the procedure –
• What is the first thing you do when someone ask you for help regarding their site?
• Are you able to create a step-by-step procedure to fix a certain issue in a Website?
• Technical problem-solving skills –What are the things you do to fix a problem technically?
• Do you have any experience in setting up and configuring Email Accounts?

Starting salary AU$1400 monthly based on 40-hour week.

Negotiable based on performance with possible 3-month review to perfect candidate and definite 12-month review.

We also do SEO, social media, copywriting, and most things digital marketing or website related.

Tech support is a high attention to detail role.

What does your day look like?

• Morning check in
• Check emails for support tickets and project notifications, respond
• Follow up with clients, either by support ticket system or phone if required
• Follow up with team, and check tasks previously assigned
• Liaise with clients
• Process support tickets
• Check off that processes has been adhered to
• Work no project modules

We have a local tech currently handling all the hosting setup, techy stuff, and all things WordPress.

We have a local tech, who handles the incoming phone calls, helps in support, and also does our SEO.

We have a remote tech also doing SEO as well as another remote Google Ads person.

We have 2 remote designers who handles the design concepts, and the actual build as such.

We have 2 Project Managers, one managing the web builds, the other overseeing CRM work, as well as EA to me.

We also 2 remote Australian people, one is an Infusionsoft Certified Specialist, handling our CRM.

We have a marketing manager based in South Africa, helping our clients, and us with managing the marketing for our clients.

Then there’s me, I focus on Sales and Marketing, as well as product and systems development.

So, can you handle the clients and our team. Is that you?

IT Technical Support/Web Developer is a high attention to detail role. You cannot fake attention to detail, you either have it, or you don’t.
