WebDev or Frontend Developer with expertise in PHP, JavaScript and WordPress

We are seeking a skilled web developer with expertise in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and WordPress to create a responsive software review website.

The website will allow users to review various software products, customize review settings, and interact with a community of members (Members of this community can interact with this reviews, like: rate, review and comment).

The project will involve WordPress plugin modification and creation, taxonomy creation and management, custom functionality development, structured data integration, and the use of the WordPress Gutenberg editor. (Please also attach similar WordPress Projects you have build)

Project Goals:
> Develop a responsive software review website using WordPress.
> Enable users to rate software products with preset review settings and based on specific review templates.
> Create a WordPress Website with our already created design based on provided specifications.
> Implement membership functionality with user profiles.
> Allow users to access and view their previous reviews.
> Integrate structured data (Click to view) into the website’s pages for enhanced SEO.
> Utilize the WordPress Gutenberg editor for content creation and management.

Technical Requirements:
The chosen web developer should have the following technical skills and expertise:
> Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and WordPress development.
> Experience with WordPress plugin modification and creation.
> Knowledge of membership and review plugins in WordPress.
> Ability to create custom taxonomies, ratings, tags, and categories.
> Strong problem-solving skills for implementing special features.
> Familiarity with implementing structured data for SEO optimization.
> Preference for using the WordPress Gutenberg editor.

Project Phases:
Phase 1: Website Development (max. 4 weeks after hiring)
Set up a WordPress website with the provided design.
Create a user-friendly interface for software reviews.
Implement preset review settings for users.
Develop the ability for users to rate software products.
Develop custom taxonomies for software categorization and tagging.
Implement advanced search and filtering options.
Integrate structured data (Click to view) into the website’s pages based on our recommendations
Use YOAST SEO as Plugin for Titles, Description etc. (Setup will be made by us)
Utilize the WordPress Gutenberg editor – no other 3rd party page builders like beaver builder, divi, etc.

Phase 2: Membership and User Profiles (6 weeks after project start)
> Integrate a membership plugin to allow user registration.
> Create user profiles with customizable avatars.
> Implement a user dashboard for profile management.
> Allow users to see their previous ratings on their profile and the ability to see others’ ratings and mark them as helpful or not.
> Optional: Reward system for the most active users.

Phase 3: Custom Functionality (8 weeks after project start)
> Integrate social sharing features for reviews.
> Implement any other special functionality as required.
> Add Newsletter (Setup can be made by us)

Project Timeline: The estimated project timeline is 10 weeks from hiring, if you are not able to do it, let us know.

Project Budget: The budget for this project need to be defined together. Any additional expenses, such as plugin licenses or third-party services, will be discussed and approved separately and of course, paid by us.

Communication and Collaboration: Regular communication is crucial for the success of this project. We will hold weekly meetings to discuss progress, address questions, and provide feedback.

Quality Assurance: The final website must be responsive, user-friendly, fully functional, and optimized – Basic SEO settings and architecture (Permalink Structure etc.) will be made by us. Extensive testing will be conducted before launch to ensure a seamless user experience. Possible fixes should be included in this gig.
