Responsibilities/Duties:
Define project goals, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
Guide and mentor a team of web developers. You’re the go-to for fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, setting clear goals, and ensuring a high level of team performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and upper management to understand business requirements and align web development initiatives with organizational goals.
Masterfully manage web development projects from conception to completion. You’ll ensure that every project adheres to timelines, with a keen eye on quality and client satisfaction.
Act as a liaison between clients and your team. Your role is crucial in translating client needs into actionable goals for the team, ensuring a seamless flow of information and expectations.
Efficiently manage resources, including personnel and budget, to optimize productivity and foster a positive work environment.
Troubleshoot website issues to ensure optimal performance and a seamless user experience.
Work closely with designers to ensure the final product meets design specifications and user requirements.
Utilize scripting and authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, and digital media to enhance web functionality.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members when needed.
Make strategic decisions related to the technology stack, development methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the web development team.
Monitor the performance of the web development team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Ensure the team’s adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Encourage continuous learning and professional development among team members.
Address conflicts within the team promptly and constructively, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Prepare regular reports on team performance, project status, and key metrics for upper management.
Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, best practices, and project-related information.
Ensure that the team is well-versed in Webflow/Shopify/Wordpress/Other platforms (as needed) best practices and stays updated on the latest features and updates.
Requirements / Qualifications:
A veteran in web development management, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
Ideally holding a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Proficiency with Webflow and its visual web design capabilities.
Proficiency in Client First framework is required.
Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language and theme customization is preferred but not required.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development for web design.
Solid experience in using Figma for website designing.
Solid understanding and experience in UI/UX.
Proficiency with editing tools such as Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Have worked remotely for an American company/timezone with Filipino team members.
At least 8GB RAM to handle multiple web-based applications, wired unlimited internet connection (involves heavy file up/downloads, consumable subscription is not enough), and a comfortable + zero distraction work space/office.
Bonus points if you have: Digital marketing experience (search, social, web and app development, e-commerce, etc.)

Someone with any chance of possible overlapping schedules within our business hours regardless of your assigned shift (We’ll be able to know, of course. Even if you don’t tell us, so don’t try.).
Lack of any experience working with a remote team and a foreign clientele.

Most of our employees work with us for more or less 3-4 years on average and do leave for various personal reasons, so no, this is not a project-based job.
