Job Description

Responsibilities/duties generally include but are not limited to:

Create visually appealing and functional websites using the Webflow platform.
Identify and troubleshoot website issues, ensuring optimal performance and a seamless user experience.
Implement mobile and responsive design principles to customize images, web pages, and templates for various devices.
Manage and update existing web design pages and templates to reflect the latest content and design trends.
Collaborate with our design team to process and manage drafted designs, including uploading them to our proofing tool.
Participate in website development and maintenance projects.
Utilize scripting and authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, and digital media to enhance web functionality.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize project needs, define content criteria, and select appropriate solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web applications, programming practices, and industry standards through continuous learning, education, and participation in relevant conferences, workshops, and groups.
Backup website files to local directories to ensure data recovery and security.
Collaborate with customer feedback and testing to identify issues, and either correct them personally or escalate them to the appropriate personnel.
Evaluate code to ensure compliance with industry standards, validity, proper structure, and compatibility with various browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Analyze technical requirements to determine user needs and implement effective solutions.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Relevant work experience in a similar role is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language and theme customization.
Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end development for web design.
Familiarity with Webflow and its visual web design capabilities.
Knowledge in using Figma for website designing
Solid understanding and experience in UI/UX.
Preferably with experience in editing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator
Have worked remotely for an American company/timezone with Filipino team members.
At least 8GB RAM to handle multiple web-based applications, wired unlimited internet connection (involves heavy file up/downloads, consumable subscription is not enough), and a comfortable + zero distraction work space/office.

Bonus points if you have:

Digital marketing experience (search, social, web and app development, e-commerce, etc.)

Who we aren’t going to consider:

Anyone currently working with a direct competitor.
Someone with any chance of possible overlapping schedules within our business hours regardless of your assigned shift (We’ll be able to know, of course. Even if you don’t tell us, so don’t try.).
Lack of any experience working with a remote team and a foreign clientele.
If you prefer working independently or without consistent team collaboration.
