Phase Multimedia is seeking a talented and experienced Website Design & Developer to join our team on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Wix, GHL, and WordPress platforms, with a strong portfolio demonstrating their expertise in each. This individual will be responsible for creating visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly websites for our clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet project requirements and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
-Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and understand project objectives.
-Design and develop websites using Wix, GHL, and WordPress platforms, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
-Customize website themes and templates to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality.
-Integrate third-party plugins, widgets, and APIs to enhance website features and functionality.
-Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO to ensure optimal user experience and search engine visibility.
-Test websites across various browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
-Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and technical support for existing websites as needed.
-Estimate project hours and provide accurate timelines for website design and development projects.
-Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in web design and development.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Website Designer & Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in Wix, GHL, and WordPress.
-Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web development languages and frameworks.
-Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Sketch.
-Knowledge of web hosting, domain management, and server configuration.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Trello, or Jira.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field.
-Certification in web development or graphic design.
-Experience working in an agency or freelance environment.
