Who We Are Looking For
The role is best suited for someone who has 5+ years experience working as a website developer / designer (agency facing or working direct), in addition, any experience in building or maintaining boiler related websites is also desirable but not essential.
The ideal candidate will also need to be hungry to learn, take ownership for their own personal development, have a positive attitude, and have a genuine passion for all things website design related.
Responsibilities
•Maintaining Prime Time Boilers existing websites (WordPress) and working to web standards – To ensure that all pages are structured appropriately and comply with all technical, legal and quality aspects (e.g. W3C best practice, usability, accessibility etc).
•Modifying (when requested) Prime Time Boilers existing Websites – To be responsible for timely and accurate production of design when requested.
•Designing ‘eye-catching’ content – The ability to produce high quality graphic designs (using image sources that include iStock, Shutterstock and Adobe Stock) that are appropriate for Prime Time Boilers specific target audience.
•Team Working Abilities – To liaise with our in house marketing manager, copywriters and SEO consultants with the aim to improve organic rankings for selected keywords.
•Prioritisation And Time Management – To ensure work is prioritised according to company requests and time is managed effectively to meet multiple requirements.
Skills And Experience
• Minimum 5 years working as a website developer / designer (either agency facing or direct). Must be able to manual code with WordPress to create fast loading websites.
• Proficient in using photoshop tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop) and having a clear understanding of UX Principles.
• A clear understanding of mobile first best practices, responsive design/cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
• The ability to work independently & within a team, with strong communication skills & excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient at time keeping and delivering projects at set deadlines.
• Past experience in building and developing boiler related websites is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in SEO is desirable but not essential.
