Website Developer

We are looking for a website developer to work on multiple projects to create amazing user experiences and highly effective websites on the WIX platform. This person will have the ability to create a website from concept to completion.
There are no set minimum hours per week or fortnight.

The role will start on a “hired as needed” basis.

This individual must be comfortable with receiving lots of feedback during the design phase and act on it quickly and effectively.
Role Requirements:

• Designing, creating, and editing websites that are clean, beautiful, highly engaging, and made for seamless user experiences through the WIX platform for desktop and phone
• Create a website from scratch from a brief – ability to take feedback and be flexible
• Require to clean up existing websites and bring SEO up to scratch
• Create and maintain blogs (written content is provided)
• Expand, maintain, and scale existing websites on the WIX platform
• Create mock-ups and demo pages for websites
• Update and maintain SEO optimization, research and maintain relevant keywords for the Australian audience
• Create landing pages for existing websites as well as stand-alone projects.
• Designing email templates (WIX and/or MailChimp)
• Create easy-to-use web forms and databases
• Have a high emphasis on high-quality web design and graphic design

Skills and Experience Required:
• Proven experience and excellent knowledge of the WIX platform
o Portfolio of websites and landing pages created required
• Excellent programming skills
• A solid understanding of automation, app and software integrations, security
• A solid understanding of best security practices
• At least an intermediate understanding of e-commerce and payment gateways
• A solid knowledge of how to create WIX phone apps
• Experience with website testing and debugging
• Excellent knowledge of the SEO process.

At least 3 testimonials from previous clients
A portfolio of existing websites, landing pages, and applications.
