Hi Developer from Philippines

We have a bit of overflow work over the next month and are looking for a great developer to join our Phillipino team and jump on a number of tasks to make our client’s e-commerce stores better than they already are.

Reports To:
Project Coordinator and CEO

Direct Reports:
Nil or more junior staff that might be assigned by the Director from time-to-time

Client:
There is a current opportunity to work with a website developer, known for their beautiful designs and optimised results. With a customer-centric approach, you will have the opportunity to design and build websites that delight the customers and drive outcomes. This role is suited for someone who is passionate about digital marketing, website development and has a fine eye for detail.

Outcomes:
– Client feedback is positive and clients are happy
– Remove CEO from web builds and maintenance tasks so they can focus on bringing in new business
– All sites at the industry level standard (Google Page Speed Insights, Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals)

Responsibilities and Duties:
– Work with Project Coorditor on current minor projects and documentation of work
– Responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including the implementation of themes and plugins
– Coordinate and update any required website changes
– Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
– Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
– Ensure high performance and availability of all sites, including conducting regular performance tests
– Stay plugged into emerging technologies to apply to existing and new websites

Job Skills and Qualifications:
– At least 3 + years’ experience in Website Development and Design
– Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Gutenberg
– Able to demonstrate a portfolio of self designed websites
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
– Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
– A strong desire to learn!
