Website Developer for a Health and Wellness Brand in the Philippines

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Website Designer & Developer with extensive knowledge and experience in using various website platforms. This would be an immediate one-time short-term project that can potentially turn into future projects when needed.

The project is to design and develop a user-friendly website for a Filipino health and wellness brand. This website will be the main channel where clients and customers can purchase products and sign up for a wellness coaching program. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our agency’s Chief Consultant. All content (copy, graphics) will be provided and your main task will be to create and design the web pages. This is project-based but the role may develop into a part-time or full-time position in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:
– Design and implement a visually appealing and user-friendly website with purchase/checkout capabilities
– Responsible for taking control of web design projects after initial conversations – we trust your experience.
– Optimize website for SEO and conversions
– Recommend and add plugins
– Set up integrations: payment, auto-responder/welcome emails, social media, etc. (copy will be provided)
– Collaborate with manager on zoom calls if needed

REQUIREMENTS:
• At least 2 years experience in designing websites and integrating with third-party applications
• A love for design and a great attitude in turning constructive feedback into improvement
• Can start on January 2, 2024
• Pays meticulous attention to detail
• Demonstrates commitment to finishing projects
• Provides regular progress updates and communicates effectively throughout the process
• Offers suggestions for improving tasks
• Is proactive in communication
• Can be available for scheduled calls/meetings between 8 AM – 5 PM Philippines time (You may choose what time you want to work as long as it’s within these hours)
• Has previous experience in creating WordPress websites with purchase/checkout capabilities (Paybiz or other PH payment platforms is a plus)
