Join our innovative team at New World Visions as a dedicated Website Developer specializing in WordPress and Divi Theme. We’re looking for a technically skilled individual who can seamlessly convert PSD to WordPress, customize themes, and troubleshoot any coding issues.
Daily Responsibilities:
1. Daily Reporting: Send a daily update on current projects and timelines.
2. PSD to WordPress Conversion: Using the Divi Theme to transform designs into functional websites.
3. Theme Customization: Modify and customize existing WordPress themes to meet client needs.
4. Troubleshooting: Address and resolve coding issues as they arise.
5. Theme Modification: Adjust themes as necessary to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
Required Technical Skills and Experience:
1. WordPress Expertise: Minimum 1 year of experience with WordPress.
2. Coding Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, and PHP.
3. Design Skills: Experienced with Photoshop for web design purposes.
Soft Skills:
* Fast Learner: Capable of quickly picking up new technologies and workflows.
* Attention to Detail: Ensures all aspects of work are done with precision.
* Ability to Follow Instructions: Executes tasks exactly as specified.
Basic Skills:
* Excellent command of the English language.
* Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and various communication and project management tools such as Slack, Asana, and Trello.
Desired Technical Skills:
1. Adobe Creative Suite: Experience with Adobe software is a plus, aiding in comprehensive design and development tasks.
Work Schedule:
* Full-time, Monday to Friday. Flexible hours, some days you won’t have to work but mandatory participation in daily scrum meetings for at least one hour.
Salary & Benefits:
* Salary: Negotiable based on experience.
