Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Website Manager with a blend of technical and creative skills to oversee our company’s website. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day maintenance, operation, and improvement of our website to ensure it provides a consistent, high-quality experience for our visitors. This role involves collaborating with various departments to update content, enhance functionality, improve design, and maintain the security of the website.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Strategy: Develop and implement a website strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing and business goals.

Content Management: Oversee the planning, creation, and updating of content on the website in collaboration with content writers, designers, and marketing teams.

Design and Functionality: Work with web developers and designers to enhance the website’s appearance and functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.

SEO Optimization: Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure the website is optimized for search engines, leading to increased visibility and traffic.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor website performance, analyze traffic data, and conduct usability tests to identify areas for improvement.

Security and Compliance: Ensure the website complies with web standards and laws, including privacy regulations and accessibility guidelines. Manage security protocols to protect website data and users.

Vendor Management: Liaise with hosting companies, web developers, and other external vendors to ensure high-quality services and timely project completions.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, IT, and customer service departments to align website strategy with company objectives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field. (not required, but helpful)
Proven experience as a Website Manager, Webmaster, or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms like WordPress).
Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends).
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Excellent project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions quickly.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
