About Me:

I am a luxury wedding photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. I am the owner and Lead Photographer at Stephanie Smith Photography. My husband is my second shooter and we have 5 beautiful kids.

I am seeking a loyal, skilled and creative Photo Editor to join my team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, a passion for visual storytelling, and expertise in various photo editing software. As a Photo Editor, you will be responsible for enhancing and retouching images to meet the highest quality standards, paying special attention to bright whites, natural skin tones, and rich color, with a timeless and realistic style. You will also be culling RAW photos and selecting the best images for delivery, providing sneak peeks within 48 hours of the session/wedding.

Responsibilities

* Edit and retouch photographs to ensure they meet company standards and client specifications
* Use photo editing software, Lightroom, to adjust lighting, color balance, contrast, cropping and other elements to enhance a clean visual appeal, paying special attention to bright whites, natural skin tones, and rich color, with a timeless, realistic and editorial style
* Edit sneak peeks within 48 hours of the session/wedding
* Cull and decide which images to edit, with an artistic and discerning eye
* Ability to remove blemishes and unwanted objects in Lightroom and/or Photoshop
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in photo editing techniques
* Organize and maintain a digital library of edited images for easy accessibility
* Provide feedback to photographers to improve the quality of original images
* Ensure timely delivery of edited photos while maintaining high-quality standards, keeping track of the album delivery deadlines

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Photo Editor or similar role, wedding experience preferred
* Proficient in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and equivalent tools
* Strong portfolio showcasing editing skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication, English speaking, and collaboration skills
* Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Knowledge of the latest trends in photography and image editing
* A creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills
* Time management and leadership skills
* Thorough knowledge of computer imaging, photographic techniques, and color and image composition
