Wedding Photography Culling & Editing

Seeking a talented individual to join our team in a established wedding photography & videography studio as a photo editor.

We are based in Brisbane, Australia and have been operating for over 10 years.
We currently service 100+ weddings per year.
We have retained our current staff members for 10 years also so long term secure employment is available once the right peson is found.

The correct person for this role should have the following:
Expert level knowledge in Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop (we mainly use Lightroom for about 95% of our work so minimal retouching)
Fluent English
Attention to detail
Understanding of deadlines to ensure clients are serviced properly
Reliable & trustworthy
Ability to work weekends (for sneak peek purposes) with the understanding hours are otherwise flexible.

This jobs current roles will include:

Wedding Photoshoots:
– Downloading Adobe Lightroom catalogs after wedding day is complete & uploaded.
– Wedding sneak peak preparation for social media (within 24-48 hours after wedding date)
(Consisting of choosing 10-20 images, editing, exporting & uploading them to Google Drive).
– Image culling of complete sets in Adobe Lightroom
– Image editing of culled images in Adobe Lightroom
– Uploading completed catalog for review & export (within 7-14 days after wedding date)

Couple Photoshoots:
– Downloading Adobe Lightroom catalogs after the couple photoshoot is complete & uploaded.
– Wedding sneak peak preparation for social media (within 1-3 days after shoot date)
(Consisting of choosing 5-10 images, editing, exporting & uploading them to Google Drive).
– Image culling of complete sets in Adobe Lightroom
– Image editing of culled images in Adobe Lightroom
– Uploading completed catalog for review & export. (within 7 days after shoot date)

Annual volume is currently approximately:
Photo Culling: 270,000~ photos
Photo Editing: 70,000~ photos

We have an extensive amount of catalogs from previous jobs that you can use to help understand our style.

Working hours is set as flexible and the main constraint is deadlines set per job.
Otherwise you would have the flexibility to work day or night.

Due to the nature of our industry, we do have some variation on the frequency of our jobs so some months will be busier than others. I understand that it could be difficult if salary payment was to reduce on quiet months so I am happy to negotiate a base salary that allows for this fluctuation with the understanding you may need to work longer hours on others.
