As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end process of
preparing and submitting bids, proposals, and tenders. Your primary responsibility is to ensure
the efficient coordination of all activities related to the bidding process, from the initial request
for proposals (RFP) to the submission of the final proposal. This role requires strong
organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to collaborate with internal
teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management:
*Coordinate and lead the bid process from inception to submission.
*Develop and maintain a comprehensive bid schedule outlining key deadlines and milestones.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for proposal development.
2. Document Management:
* Organize and manage all bid-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
*Review and edit content to ensure proposals align with the requirements of RFPs.
* Maintain a central repository for bid documents and templates.
3. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
*Ensure all proposals comply with the guidelines and requirements set forth in RFPs.
*Conduct quality checks to guarantee the accuracy and professionalism of the final
submissions.
*Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any contractual or regulatory
requirements.
4. Communication and Collaboration:
*Facilitate communication between internal teams, subject matter experts, and external
partners.
*Coordinate meetings and workshops to gather information and align on key bid elements.
*Act as a liaison between the organization and clients during the bid process.
5. Market Research:
*Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in bidding.
*Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing the competitiveness of bids.
6. Code Compliance Engineer:
*This role involves ensuring that engineering projects comply with relevant codes and
standards. Code Compliance Engineers review designs, specifications, and construction
activities to ensure adherence to applicable engineering codes.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
? At least 5 Years of Experience
? Proven experience in bid coordination or a related role.
? Has experience working with US clients.
? Experience in Interpreting US/ Texas Subdivision Regulations & Standards.
? Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
? Familiarity with proposal development processes and techniques.
? Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
? Proficiency in document management and collaboration tools.
? Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
? MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint experience
? AutoCAD Experience is a plus
? Excellent math skills
? Experience working in a fast-paced environment
? Flexibility to work in a changing environment with a growing company
