Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Wix eCommerce Store Developer to build and launch our online store. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of eCommerce best practices, web design, and user experience. As a Wix eCommerce Store Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and launching our online store on the Wix platform.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop a visually appealing and functional eCommerce store on Wix platform.
• Work with the team to gather requirements and determine the overall site structure, including product catalog, categories, and product pages.
• Set up payment gateway integrations, shipping options, and tax calculations.
• Implement SEO best practices and optimize the site for search engines.
• Test the site thoroughly to ensure functionality and user experience.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the site, including updates and upgrades as needed.
• Continuously monitor site performance and implement strategies to improve site speed and user experience.
Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of the Wix platform, including Wix Editor, Wix Stores, and Wix Code.
• Proven experience in designing and developing eCommerce sites on Wix.
• Familiarity with web design best practices and user experience principles.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
• Experience with integrating payment gateways, shipping options, and tax calculations.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing eCommerce sites for search engines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education and Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience in designing and developing eCommerce sites on the Wix platform.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating payment gateways, shipping options, and tax calculations.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience optimizing eCommerce sites for search engines.
