Job Description

If you’re passionate about creating engaging content and have a knack for managing WordPress sites, I want you to join my digital media team. You will have a critical role in managing two of our premier properties, ensuring they’re always publishing on schedule, up to date with best practices and well maintained.

What You’ll Do:
– Oversee daily operations of two WordPress blogs, including formatting and updating posts to brand guidelines and comment moderation.
– Administrate, implement and manage the editorial calendar in Click-up. (You are not responsible for SEO research or writing content)
– Format images in Canva and upload to the blogs
– Collaborate with writers on schedule
– Ensure SEO best practices are applied to all content
– Deep link
– Manage affiliate links and displays
– Updating the backlog of content when directed

Please only apply if you have previous experience working on WordPress for at least 9 months.

Skills needed:
– Experience with google docs and sheets. REQUIRED
– Experience with SEO and internal linking. REQUIRED
– High-quality English skills and confidence in writing without AI assistance. REQUIRED
– Ability to review analytics to track performance and behavior PREFERRED
– Familiarity with blogger affiliate marketing practices PREFERRED
– Familiarity with Click up PREFERRED
– A great eye for detail
– Be a keen and quick learner
– Self-motivated
– Positive, no excuse attitude
– Good communication skills

Consider the first week a trial training period to test the workflow and see how we work together. This time is paid.

The job is Monday to Friday and starts at $3/hour. This is a full-time schedule at 40 hours a week. You may choose your best working hours, but I need a few hours every day, at minimum, when you can overlap with GMT-5 time, and we can communicate directly without delay.
