Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced website developer to join our dynamic team at Paloma Blanca. As a website developer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our online presence and creating a seamless user experience for our customers. You will work closely with our team to develop, improve and maintain our website.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, code, and maintain our website using modern web technologies and best practices.
• WordPress maintenance updates to plugins, themes, core.
• Optimization of website for performance, security, and SEO
• Formulating a website design that is responsive and error-free
• Working with our team to perfect site aesthetics and create a user-friendly experience.
• Collaborate with the team to implement new features and functionality
• Update webpages
• Optimize web pages such as the homepage, landing pages, blog posts, product pages (on-page SEO) to boost organic search rankings
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Ensure google tags are functioning as intend and tracking data correctly
• Monitor SiteGround website hosting
• Optimization website performance for mobile
• Conducting research and keeping on top of software development trends
• Monitoring live website performance
• Improve overall speed of website
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Provide support and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a web developer specializing in WordPress
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
• Experience using Elementor
• Proficiency in google analytics and google search console
• Strong understanding of SiteGround hosting.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for website optimization.
• Creative and able to design webpages that are responsive, user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing.
• Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design.
