WordPress Developer

BrandAware is looking for an experienced WordPress developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with WordPress, as well as a keen eye for design. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation based on your skill level. Depending on your skill level, you may have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior developers, and also have a chance to work with the latest technologies and tools. You’ll be working on high-impact projects and be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that values innovation and creativity.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and update websites using WordPress
Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing websites
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines
Work with designers and other developers to implement new features and functionality
Optimize website performance and security
Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends and best practices

Requirements:

2+ years of experience working with WordPress
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Organized and an efficient planner
Strong time management skills
Self-discipline and a self-starter

Preferred:
Experience with WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, and/or other WordPress plugins.
Experience in integrating websites with third-party services and APIs
Experience with website performance optimization techniques
