At Caravea, we are on an exciting growth trajectory and are in search of an exceptional WordPress Developer to expand our dynamic dev team of five. Our portfolio currently boasts about 40 meticulously crafted websites, and our ambition is to quadruple this number, reaching 200 within the next three years. This means launching a new website approximately every 1-2 weeks.

We’re looking for a developer who loves building websites, who takes pride in their work & is comfortable working to deadlines. You must have 3+ years of experience using WordPress and Elementor, strong CSS, PHP, JS, and AJAX skills, along with an understanding of the REST API.

In your role as a WordPress Developer at Caravea, you will be at the forefront of creating exceptional digital experiences. Your primary responsibilities will involve crafting new websites from provided designs, responding to and implementing client revisions on active websites, and ensuring ongoing site maintenance and optimization.

Your collaborative spirit and adept problem-solving abilities will be essential as you work closely with our in-house design team. This collaboration will involve developing and maintaining WordPress sites, creating custom themes and plugins, and playing a key role in quality assurance through rigorous testing and issue resolution. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and enhancing website performance and upholding stringent security standards.

To excel in this position, meticulous attention to detail is paramount. This encompasses a wide spectrum of tasks, from accurately inputting data into site databases to ensuring optimal site functionality, including speed, mobile responsiveness, and fidelity to design specifications. This is a work-from-home position requiring 40 hours per week, with work hours from 7 am to 4 pm, Philippines time, Monday through Friday. This schedule includes a one-hour lunch break. To support your home office setup, we provide additional compensation to cover necessary expenses such as internet, power, and contributions to PhilHealth, SSS, and Pag-IBIG.
