About Us:
Executive Mosaic is a fast-paced, results-oriented organization specializing in providing industry insights, media services, and business intelligence for the government contracting community. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. This position will collaborate closely with leaders and project managers to ensure that our projects meet the requirements, timelines, and budgets that have been established.

Responsibilities:
Conduct research, design, and implementation of technical specifications to support internal business needs.
Ensure that projects meet performance, security, and functional requirements.
Create and maintain websites, intranets, applications, and other custom programming assignments as needed.
Develop new programs, evaluate existing programs and processes, and make recommendations for improvements.
Analyze current programs, including performance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
Perform database and backend programming.
Stay current on industry standards and incorporate them as necessary.
Test, debug, document, and suggest improvements for all projects.
Cloud Server and Domain Server Responsibilities:
AWS:
Responsible for addressing any issues/problems occurring on new and old instances.
Responsible for setting up new instances.
Responsible for AWS server/RDS DB updates.

Closte: Manage server-side setup and resolve server-side issues on websites, including but not limited to the creation of stagings, setting up domains, and optimizing website loading speeds for the following: POC, GovConExec, GovconIndex, GovconWire, GovconWire events, ExecutiveBiz, ExecutiveMosaic ExecutiveBiz events, ExecutiveGov, Fociforum, Staging Wash100
Hostway: Handle updates on DNS records.

WordPress Development Responsibilities:
Handle updates/issues and implement new features for POC.
Resolve live issues on our websites as part of assigned tasks.
Assist other developers with their tasks if they need assistance.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in the industry.
Minimum 3 years of experience with WordPress development and administration.
Proficiency in PHP, CSS/HTML, JavaScript, jQuery (and/or similar JS libraries), and MySQL (or other database management systems).
Extensive experience in developing custom web applications.
Understanding of business requirements and non-technical reasoning behind decisions, with the ability to present a clear, rational argument in favor of a proposed solution.
Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
