WordPress Developer

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our web design agency for a part-time position, with the potential to transition to a full-time role. The ideal candidate should be an expert in WordPress, WooCommerce,and Elementor as most of our websites are built using these.
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and designing WordPress websites for our clients. You should have a strong understanding of WordPress, Woocommerce, Elementor, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with popular WordPress plugins and themes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with a strong emphasis on e-commerce, particularly WooCommerce.
Deliver clean, modern, and high-performing website designs.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize websites for speed and performance.
Implement and maintain backup, security, and updates to the WordPress platform and plugins.
Communicate and coordinate with clients when required, ensuring their specifications and needs are met.
Provide support and maintenance to resolve website issues for clients in a timely fashion.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure websites are modern and competitive.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in WordPress design & development.
Proven experience with WooCommerce and Elementor.
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
Ability to deliver projects on tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Strong understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
Familiarity with project management tools like clickup.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective client interactions.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field preferred (not mandatory)
At least 1 years of experience in WordPress development and design
