Position: WordPress Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced WordPress developer to enhance our website’s functionality and user experience. The primary task involves scraping competitor websites to extract relevant data, structuring this data, and integrating it into our existing WordPress setup using the WP GeoDirectory plugin.

Key Responsibilities:

– Web Scraping: Scrape specified competitor websites to extract relevant information.
– Data Management: Organize the scraped data into a structured spreadsheet format.
– WordPress Integration: Upload and integrate the data into our website using the WP GeoDirectory plugin.
– Data Structuring: Ensure that all data is structured and formatted correctly within WP GeoDirectory to create a functional directory.
– UI/UX Enhancement: Improve the user interface and user experience of the directory section of our website.
– Plugin and Theme Compatibility: Work seamlessly with our existing theme and plugins. While you can introduce new plugins or code to enhance functionality, it’s crucial to ensure compatibility and maintain website performance.

Requirements:

– Proven experience with WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
– Familiarity with the WP GeoDirectory plugin or similar directory plugins.
– Strong knowledge of web scraping techniques and tools.
– Proficiency in data management and spreadsheet tools.
– A keen eye for UI/UX design and a commitment to enhancing user experience.
– Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
– Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Additional Notes:

Please provide a portfolio or examples of previous work related to WordPress development and web scraping.
Familiarity with the current theme and plugins we use will be considered an advantage.
