We are currently seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team and help us deliver exceptional results to our clients.

Job Description:

As a WordPress Developer at Five Creative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining responsive WordPress websites for our clients, utilising your expertise in both front-end and back-end development. You must be proficient with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Elementor and be able to create themes from scratch. Good communication skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with team members and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

– Design and develop responsive WordPress websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
– Be proficient in Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Elementor
– Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes from scratch
– Collaborate with designers and other developers to create a seamless user experience
– Optimise websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO)
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices
– Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project requirements are met

Requirements:

– At least 3 years of experience in WordPress development, including front-end and back-end
– Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
– Strong proficiency with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Elementor
– Ability to code and not just rely on page builders and off the shelf themes (We don’t use off the shelf themes)
– Proven experience developing and maintaining custom WordPress themes
– Knowledge of responsive design principles and best practices
– Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques and SEO
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
– Willingness to learn new technologies and stay up-to-date with industry trends
