Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a WordPress Developer & SEO Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites while also implementing effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our websites are optimized for both user experience and search engine visibility.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop custom WordPress websites from scratch, including theme development, plugin integration, and customization to meet client requirements.
– Optimize website performance, speed, and security by implementing best practices in WordPress development and optimization.
– Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for content optimization.
– Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, and on-page elements, for improved search engine visibility and user experience.
– Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting website performance, such as crawlability, indexing, and site architecture.
– Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including link building, content optimization, and local SEO tactics.
– Monitor website traffic, user behavior, and search engine algorithms to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
– Stay informed about industry trends, search engine updates, and best practices in WordPress development and SEO to maintain a competitive edge.
– Generate regular reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, and provide insights for improvement.
– Provide ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress websites, including troubleshooting technical issues and implementing updates and security patches.

Qualifications:
– Proven experience in WordPress development, including proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web development, digital marketing, or related field.
– Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and best practices in website development and optimization.
– Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar platforms.
– Solid understanding of on-page and off-page SEO techniques, including content optimization, link building, and technical SEO.
– Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
– Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work and achieving measurable results.
– Certifications in WordPress development and SEO are a plus.
