WordPress Developer with Graphic Design Skills Wanted for Exciting B2B Solar Energy Project

Hello there! We’re looking for a skilled WordPress Developer & Graphic Designer.
Your job will primarily involve building and maintaining our WordPress website and creating visually striking content that aligns with our brand. The ideal candidate is Proficiency in WordPress, including creating custom themes and plugins, and familiarity with the latest updates.
A deep understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
Strong graphic design skills, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to create compelling visual content.

Experience with graphic design software like Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a remote team.

Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing new features and functionality for our WordPress site.
Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture.
Creating website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
Conducting website performance tests.
Troubleshooting content issues.
Designing visually attractive interfaces and graphics that match our brand identity.
Implementing responsive design for mobile sites.

Our budget falls in the range of $15 – $35 per hour. However, this is negotiable based on your skills and experience.

While we’re open to talent from anywhere in the world, preference will be given to those in the same or a similar time zone to ours (EST) to facilitate smoother communication.

We’re looking for someone who can work with us for about 20-30 hours a week, with potential for more hours depending on project needs and your availability.

While we appreciate the ability to work during our business hours (9 AM to 5 PM EST), we can be flexible. What’s most important to us is your reliability and the quality of your work.

Not at the moment. We respect work-life balance, but may need occasional weekend work during product launches or website updates.

The candidate should be familiar with WordPress and standard graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Basic knowledge of Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets) would also be needed for team communication and project management.
