WordPress Developer with Gutenberg experience – Permanent, Half-time full time

This is a salaried, half-time, permanent position (you are expected to work 20 hrs/wk). If it goes well a conversion to full-time is available.

Requirements

* To be considered, you must submit the source code for at least one WordPress project you developed which involved any of the following: Gutenberg block styling, block patterns and block variations; development of new Gutenberg blocks; customization of the Gutenberg core blocks. We need you to submit code authored by you which demonstrates that you have a good track record customizing and extending Gutenberg. Without this, your application will not be considered.
* Good English skills, both written and verbal.
* You must be available for calls and chats during mornings Mon-Fri in US Eastern Time. You can do the rest of your work whenever you want.
* Experience with related technologies such as SASS, WP theme and plugin development, and Git are significant and factored into our assessment.
* Dedication to improving your general software engineering skills and WordPress knowledge.

We believe that developers should be judged by the quality of their CODE above everything else. Therefore, your application MUST include a relevant code submission. If you can show us that you write good code we don’t care where you live, how old you are, where you went to university, or even if you have a degree.

Without this, we will be unable to process your application.

Please specify your salary expectation for a permanent half-time position (20 hrs/wk). To calculate this, take your expectation for a full-time, monthly salary, and divide it by half. Then tell us what that number is.
