We are an established and growing online media company in the US and currently have multiple sites that we would like to re-vamp and plans to continue launching and growing new websites.

We are looking for someone to bring on to our team long term as our wordpress development lead. We use several large email lists to drive traffic and want to continue building, growing, and optimizing our own websites in-house. If you are looking for consistent income and the ability to grow with one company this is the opportunity for you!
You will be able to set your own work hours as you will be working directly with the CEO.
This is a longterm position and we would like someone to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install and customize WordPress themes and plugins
-Collaborate with our CEO to create visually appealing websites with great user experience
-Optimize websites for speed and performance
-Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
-Regularly update and maintain existing websites
-Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our websites remain competitive
Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years experience working with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
-Strong portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects, including custom theme and plugin development
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
-Familiarity with SEO best practices and web accessibility standards
-Positive reviews and testimonials from previous clients
