Hi there, Nick here from Design Hero!
I’m looking for a long-term partnership with a web designer to design and build websites for Design Hero.
— About Me
I’m a very easy person to work with,
I’m highly flexible on deadlines, deliverables and working times,
I’m always there to provide feedback, a helping hand or do a bit of teaching if necessary.
I work successfully with many freelancers in this way
I vet my clients just as carefully as I do my freelancers.
I make sure my freelancers have enough time, budget and latitude to achieve a good outcome.
Design Hero is not interested in producing cookie cutter websites,
or just customizing the colours and content of an “off the shelf” theme.
The right candidate should be confident you meet ALL the requirements below,
and be sure to provide specific answers to ALL the vetting questions
— List of Essential requirements
Any partner Design Hero works with must be fully confident in ALL the below…
• MUST have a minimum of 2 hours per day within 9am-5pm UK time. (doesn’t need to be every day)
• MUST be totally fluent in English reading, writing, speaking and listening.
• Be able to take initiative on the design of the website based on provided examples
• Using Elementor theme builder to build websites themes from scratch, including headers, footers, page templates and loops
• Using Elementor Site Settings to design on a site-wide level
• Using plugins such as – Advanced Custom Fields, Custom Post Types, Anywhere • Elementor and Ele Custom Skin
• Using Woocommerce
• Knowledge of CSS isn’t strictly essential, but would be useful!
• Driving a project forward on your own initiative.

It would be handy if you can also help with the following:
• Figma for initial design mockups
— Typical websites I’ll ask you to design
• information websites
• Lead generation sales websites
• Landing pages
• E-commerce websites
• Booking websites
• Membership websites
— Vetting Q’s
• How do you get ideas for each website, are there any particular sites you use for inspiration?
• What is your design process?
• Please provide at least x3 websites you have designed fully yourself on Elementor. Try to show a range of different website types, blog, e-commerce etc.
• How much would you charge for each example above?

We would try a few smaller one-off jobs first,
Then if we’re a good fit we can agree on a fixed monthly retainer for flexible ongoing work.
The key is it has to be a win-win for both of us!
